ATEX compliance is a critical area for chemical processing applications in all disciplines. The responsibility for specifying ATEX compliant equipment of suitable classification lies firmly with the plant manager but we can assist with up to date advice on products.
Manufacturers do not offer ATEX certified versions of all their products. However, the examples below indicate what is available.
ATEX Rotary Vane Pumps
ATEX pumps typically have an external ATEX classification of Ex II 2G IIC T4 or Ex II 2G IIB T4 and are suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Common internal ATEX classification is Ex II 3G c IIB T4.
ATEX Diaphragm Pumps
Fully chemically resistant PTFE diaphragm pumps for applications where explosive atmospheres can develop.
